Weekly Recap

This week, the Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP) welcomed an influx of soldiers, and not just on Recruitment Thursday. Capt. Killua seems to be gunning for that Admiral position harder than ever. Alone, he raked in over ten new recruits. His goal is to bring RFCP to 175 enlisted, and eventually the anticipated 200 enlisted mark. The regular scheduled events for Monday (memes) and Tuesday (counting) went smoothly, but Wednesday’s Casino Night took the ~~wedding~~ cake. The army played a fan favorite, “The Newlywed Game,” in which soldiers pair up to see how well they know each other, such as favorite color, biggest fear, etc. In this “polygamy” edition (CULT!!!!), hosted by Maj. CC, all soldiers had to guess for Commander Prior Bumble‘s preferences, and points would be doubled if Prior could correctly answer the same question for whoever got his question right. Max of 7 (one Ice Corporal participated only in written chat).

On Saturday, June 1, at 5:00 p.m. EDT, UNO took over the server. Another tournament resulted in a big win for Ice Agent Zenx, who swooped in to steal the victory just seconds before Prior could! Congratulations, soldier!

There’s a lot going on in this screenshot, but let’s break it down: Red Baron Exsavitator bet $20 BB (To who? Who did he make the bet with? No one, he just made a bet) that Prior would win. In turn, Prior bet $20 BB, also to no one, that the Red Baron would win the round even though the Red Baron was not playing that round.

Col. Randimplayer10 groaned this week as the lottery returned. Much more calculation involved for the poor colonel! Capt. Killua was this week’s only winner, walking away with $460 BB. Col. Random had quite a creative way to give him this money by using the $-10 bills, didn’t he?

Field Marshal DJchoruskid claimed he did this first, however…

Finally, the Commander announced that if he does not reach all the following goals by the end of the week, every soldier who reacts to that list will get $500 BB. He might make this a regular thing!
