Weekly Recap

It’s TDFD (Tuesday Fun-Day) time, y’all.

On Tuesday, July 18th, 7 people, including Ice Agents m9a and FourthGearVibez, attended the Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP)’s first-ever Pinterest event. In #gallery-and-media, Commander Prior Bumble dumped a feed of images from his “dream house” Pinterest board for the soldiers to rate on a scale of 1-5. They found his taste to be a mix of hobbit and tropical, although Maj. CC noted that some themes were inconsistent as he also featured country, modern, Asian, and estate living space ideas.

Sometimes soldiers rated the house 10/5. Many agreed that should a zombie apocalypse occur, all of us will head to Prior’s compound.

On Wednesday, July 19, the Commander launched an interactive/visual novel for the army in #polls. Here, soldiers assumed a character in the story (based in the RFCP universe) and could vote on what to do next! It is still going strong, and Prior recently introduced a D20 (twenty-sided dice most often used in Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying) into the options, such as “roll 5 or greater for charm” for one option.

Friday saw the army host a pool party on AoW225, which runs the extremely detailed new version of Club Penguin. The Commander and Maj. CC did cannonballs and played Marco Polo. Prior was, apparently, naked, since CC came in a swim suit!

Finally, the dreaded much-anticipated lottery happened on Saturday. A whopping SIXTY-FOUR lottery tickets were sold in the server at $20 BB each! The winning numbers were:

This Week in History

• July 17, 2019–RFCP participated in its first battle tournament, the Summer Circuit tournament.
• July 20th, 2019–RFCP shocks the world by turning the tides in the War of Smoke and Sour, our first war, and achieves a victory that will carry them through to the victorious end.
• July 20th, 2019–The army’s official P.O. Box opens! It is still operational today!
• July 21, 2020–Prior Bumble establishes RFCP’s official flag etiquette, salute, and army holidays.
