NORTHERN LIGHTS, UKAHALA─ Games, Promotions, and…SHARKS?! Oh my! Better watch out when swimming, because RFCP had one JAWS-ome week!

Weekly Recap

In what could only be described as a FIN-tastic takeover, the RFCP became overrun by sharks and…sexy lifeguards?

LOTS of shark pinging happened, and we are still tallying the final results…

In an effort to finally quell the mighty sharks, on Saturday evening, our Baywatch lifeguards took to their surfboards and faced the sharks hammer-HEAD on in the waters of the Ukahala Cove!

While it took some time to get people on BOARD to go into the shark-infested waters, Commander Prior Bumble jumped right in and secured the title for farthest surfing record, in typical David Hasselhoff style.

In other, more normal news (normal in RFCP standards, of course), RFCP Casino Night on Wednesday, July 20th, featured BINGO again, with a max of 7.

Silver Thirty also hosted a Find Four tournament the same day. Five penguins participated.

Furthermore, on Thursday, July 21, RFCP announced the ratification of the 11th Amendment to the Constitution. This Amendment was signed by both the Commander and the Commissars, as required by the Constitution. Read it in our #constitution channel as well!

On Saturday the 23rd, Skribl was decidedly Baywatch-themed, with five players.

Congratulations to Major Chocolateyness for receiving a promotion this week from Captain to Major–and also kudos to Ice Agent Misstarsz on her first promotion from Agent to Ice Agent! These are MAJOR accomplishments; both soldiers should be proud!

…And is that the foreshadowing of another officer promotion on the horizon???

This Week in RFCP History

This week in July 2019, RFCP was deep into the War of Smoke and Sour with LGA. The score on 20 July 2019 was tied up at 4-4.
July 20, 2019–Prior Bumble opened an official RFCP P.O. Box!
July 21, 2020–Prior Bumble released a notice of official flag etiquette for the RFCP flag.
July 21, 2020–RFCP declared war against the Templars of Club Penguin. This war was brought on by the blatantly toxic behavior TCP has displayed for years now, and was dubbed the “War of Higher Calling.”
July 22, 2020–RFCP won the Battle of Yukon against TCP in the first battle of the War of Higher Calling.
July 22, 2021–RFCP announced the date for the 5^th semi-annual Feddies Awards. Speaking of which, it’s getting about that time again! ARE YOU READY TO FEDDIE?
