NORTHERN LIGHTS, UKAHALA–It is shockingly hard for the Commander to tell the difference between an ostrich and a tree.
It was just a regular Tuesday in the Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP). And yet May 23, 2023, would mark the birth of a timeless army meme.
Our beloved Commander Prior Bumble walks several miles a day when the sun is shining, and that afternoon he paused and squinted into the distance. Down the path, to the left, in the brush, he thought he saw something unusual…
He posted a photo.
It soon became apparent that the figure was, after all, a tree. But for some reason beyond the Commander’s understanding, this led the army to sob with laughter.
Soon, the soldiers were teasing their Commander, asking him if he’d second-guess other objects as being ostriches.
And holy bird, the memes came flooding:
A few weeks later, Prior took the liberty of taking a sampling of stats on how many soldiers would, in a crisis situation, trust Prior Bumble with being able to identify an ostrich. The results were staggering:
Never in the history of RFCP has trust for the Commander been so low…
Over OSTRICHES.
And yet…
Given that Prior answered the following question correctly in only a couple of minutes…
Could we be underestimating him?
