On Monday, the Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP) enjoyed Meme Monday as usual, but also learned fascinating details at the RFCP-University (RFCP-U) workshop, “The Origins of Halloween.” Professor Prior Bumble taught this workshop and led students through the mysterious history of Samhain, the holiday which evolved into Halloween. Max 6.
Tuesday night, Commissar Hamsterlover hosted a study session. Soldiers put their study goals into our #study-channel, and joined the Voice Chat to listen to some relaxing music while they completed their study goals. Almost everyone reached their study goals…Almost.
On Wednesday night, 6 people joined into #casino-de-coolj for a fun Two Truths and a Lie game night. We learned that Commander Prior Bumble has a tattoo! He remained tight-lipped on what it was, despite everyone’s efforts to get him to tell us.
We followed the game by going to RFCP’s #court-of-law channel, as the charge of espionage was brought against Agent Jake123. Please stay tuned on a blog post for this event! This trial drew a huge max of at least 11 soldiers.
Thursday saw another Halloween-themed event! The entire army participated in the fun and spooky challenge of writing a 6-word scary story. They could only use 6 words exactly! Soldiers then voted on their favorites with 2 votes each–but it’s currently a three-way tie! Keep voting!
Friday night, four people joined in to Krispy TV for an RFCP Octoberfest showing of the Disney Channel classic, Halloweentown (1998). Make sure you join in this Friday night for a showing of Hocus Pocus (1993)!
Saturday night, our Sharks and Tigers logged on for the final Recon Hockey League (RHL) game of the season! Max 7. We will be having a full recap blog about this season soon, so make sure you stay tuned!
This Week in History
October 13,2019–RFCP declared war on the Army of Club Penguin (ACP). This war went down in our history as the War of No Return. The two armies would go on to battle a whopping 15 times over the six day period between October 14, 2019-October 20, 2019, ending with a 10-3-2 (ACP-TIE-RFCP) victory and the creation of the Revolution flag.
Soldier of the Week
Despite the trial accusing Agent Jake123 of being a spy, he was named this week’s Soldier of the Week :D. The trial brought life back one of RFCP’s sometimes-favorite channels, #court-of-law, and with it, a fun, mostly-spontaneous event! Congratulations, Jake123, and we’re sorry again if you aren’t actually a spy.
