The Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP) is proud to announce that Ukahala now runs on entirely renewable energy, supporting our organization’s commitment to being a formal ally of the environment. Lt. Blackwhitebear8 delivered the news to Commander Prior Bumble on July 6, 2022, and was met with the Commander’s resounding accolades.

What exactly is “renewable energy” and how does it help the environment?
According to the United Nations, renewable energy is “energy derived from natural sources that are replenished at a higher rate than they are consumed. Sunlight and wind, for example, are such sources that are constantly being replenished.” Other types of renewable energy include geothermal, ocean, bio, and hydropower energy. This type of energy is good for the environment because it reduces our reliance on fossil fuels (such as coal, crude oil, and natural gas) which, when burned for energy, emit harmful exhaust and become massive exacerbators of climate change.
Ukahala relies on fossil fuels no more!
