NORTHERN LIGHTS, UKAHALA–Rest in peace to the Commander’s $300 USD.

Once a year, WordPress charges $300 USD for the army’s Business membership, which enables the Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP) blog as we know it. That heavy blow comes every February–this year on February 25th.
In order to properly memorialize the great sacrifice the $300 made for our army, Commander Prior Bumble planned a funeral. The event saw 5 penguins gather at the Cove on Ukahala to eulogize the $300. For our mourners at home, we’ve transcribed the service so that you can read the words of comfort.

We especially note Prior’s bereaved comments. “I have great memories with that $300,” he said. “My favorite memory was seeing it in my account.”
Afterwards, the brave money was officially interned with a 3-gun salute on the Sacred Ground of the Iceberg. Every time the Commander waved, the Officers E+T fired. There were 3 shots in total–one for each $100.

This event marked the first occasion were the new dress white uniform appeared as well.
In all seriousness, $300 USD is an enormous investment and a huge sacrifice from Prior Bumble. Those funds are the reason our blog has the classic Digg3 theme, amazing graphics, a ticker, its own domain, 24/7 maintenance, and extensive security protection. The blog is the central hub of the army, an amazing source of pride, and a critical foundation for us. Please consider the commitment the Commander has made for you and all of us each year by paying this fee that would not be possible without him.
Erat ipso sacra.
