RFCP Fathers Father’s Day Traditions for its Father

NORTHERN LIGHTS, UKAHALA–Back in June, the army honored Prior Bumble on Father’s Day with a week of fun activities. Read on for a recap!

Although it’s been quite a few weeks since the Recon Federation of Club Penguin (RFCP) celebrated Father’s Day, the blog sought to report on the excellent activities–and possibly new traditions–the army fathered for Father’s Day.

Because the Commander was in South America over the anniversary of RFCP’s founding, the army traded its usual weeklong festivities then for a never-before-done week of festivities celebrating Father’s Day for its beloved father, Prior Bumble.

How many times will we say “father” in this blog post? Count them all and put them in #contest-submissions!

The week kicked off with streaming a documentary–Prior’s choice–on father’s rights issues called The Red Pill. The movie argues that court systems and custody trials are biased against fathers, and that fathers do not get enough say in reproductive outcomes.

The next day, Tuesday, saw the return of “Rakes vs. Leaves” but in a fatherly fishing theme, “Fish vs. Hooks.” In this game, soldiers hid fish around the server while other soldiers tried to locate those fish and catch them by reacting to the fish message with a hook emoji.

Wednesday offered another fatherly activity–grilling. Prior posted grilling challenges and soldiers cooked up the requests by drawing photos of them and sharing them in the server.

RFCP’s resident chef surely took kindly to the game.

On Thursday, the soldiers made beautiful Father’s Day cards for Prior:

Aren’t we a damn wholesome army?

Unfortunately, Ukahala was not cooperating with us on the Friday we were supposed to play catch with Dad…cue “Cat’s in the Cradle” and inattentive father jokes…

On Saturday, the soldiers looked forward to a blog post in the series of “Dad, How Do I…?”, which Prior wrote in response to a special request.

It can be read here.

Finally, Sunday–actual Father’s Day–arrived. Commander Prior’s surprise from the army was a love attack in the server.

What a great week. What great kids. What a great father.
